Mollie, the daughter of the late Alva and Bess Harmison, was born January 9, 1924 in Marion, Kansas. She received a normal teaching certificate and taught in a one room school house in White City, Kansas before she married her one true love, Delbert G. Stone, Sr. in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas on December 11, 1943.

Mollie was a woman of strong faith, a devoted wife, a kind and loving mother and a compassionate and caring friend. Besides her parents, Mollie was predeceased by an infant son, Delbert G. Stone, Jr. (Tuffy), three brothers, C.M. (Jim), Robert and Glen Harmison; one sister, Naomi Davidson, and two sons-in-law, David Zale and Bob Scoggins. She leaves to mourn her passing, her beloved husband Delbert. Together they raised four daughters and one granddaughter: Mary Ann Sawyer, Cottonwood Falls, KS, Stephanne Zale, Overland Park, KS, Deborah Scoggins, Junction City, KS, Rebecca Leonard, Topeka, KS and Marlys Shulda (Brian) of Shawnee, KS. She is also survived by one brother, Harold Harmison (Harriet) of Herington, KS, ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.

Mollie opened her door, most often with a plate of her famous chocolate chip cookies, to all who knocked. She fed bodies as well as souls. She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
