Services for Mary J. Dahlgren, 93, of Junction City, KS will be held at The Wesleyan Church, 912 S. Madison, Tuesday, August 20, 2002,at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Dr. Joe Belardo will officiate. Mary died August 14, 2002 at the Wakefield Rehabilitation Center, Wakefield, KS. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, 2002, 9:00 a.m. until time of service at The Wesleyan Church. Burial will be held at Fort Riley Cemetery, Fort Riley, Kansas. Memorial Contributions may be made to the 40/8 Nurses Training Program, c/o The American Legion, 201 E. 4th, Junction City, Kansas 66441. Mary was born April 25, 1909, Alexandria, NE to Daniel H. and Anna M. (Diller) Bricka. Mary graduated from High School in Beatrice, NE, she married Vernon Dahlgren, March 31, 1962 in Miami, OK, he
preceded her in death June 15, 1998. Mary served in the US Navy as an E-4, she served as Secretary to the Admiral, she also worked as bookkeeper at Burkes Drug Store, she was a longtime resident of Junction City, KS, she attended The Wesleyan Church. She was a member of the American Legion as Finance Officer,member of La Societe de la Femmes of the 40/8 Voiture 1029. Survivors; Two Daughters, Linda Appodaca of Junction City, KS and Laura Weaver of
Dallas, Oregon and Three Grandchildren. Preceded In Death By: Two Sisters; Mattie Davis and Wilma Crowl, Casket bearers: Fort Riley Honor Guard
