Memorial service for Mary Ivalo Butts,77, of Junction City, KS will be held at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Thursday, July 10, 2003, 10:00 a.m., cremation is planned.Pastor Ronnie Roberts of the First Christian Church will officiate. Mary died on July 4, 2003 at her residence. No visitation will be held. Inurnment will be at Fort Riley Cemetery, Fort Riley, KS. Memorial Contributions may be sent to Terry C. She graduated from Dickinson County Community High School, then went to Crum's Beauty College and received her Beautician's license. She married Joel Richard "Dick" Butts, June 30, 1956 at Manhattan,KS, he preceded her in death September 4, 1988.
Mary had resided in Junction City, KS for 50 years, she had worked as a beautician for over 30 years, before becoming a beautician, she worked for
Bell Telephone. Mary was a member of the First Christian Church, Daughter of American Revolution. Survivors include several Nieces and Nephews: Tom Diehl, Dean Bruns, Danny Martin, Lowell Brown, Martin Brown, Steve Brown, Dana Brown and Sherry Puckett.
