Mary Emilia Goodno

Mary Emilia Goodno, 77, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Valley View Senior Life Center in Junction City, Kansas.

Cremation will take place. No memorial service is planned at this time.

Mary was born September 27, 1947, the daughter of Andrew and Marion (Vetter) Selzler.

Mary worked for USD 475 many years as a custodian. She later worked for the Flint Hills Job Corps Center in Manhattan, Kansas. She was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church in Junction City.

Mary enjoyed bowling, gardening, camping, fishing and spending time at the lake. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family.

Survivors include one son, Ricky Smith of Wichita, Kansas; two daughters, Brenda Smith of Junction City, Kansas and Angel Brown of Manhattan, Kansas; one step-son, Keith Goodno; eight grandchildren, Carnall Smith, Yolanda Smith, Tamara Brown, LaQuinta Brown, D'Aundra Brown, George McGrew, Dejanay Tobler and Kayla Goodno; fifteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
