Martha Darden

Martha J. Darden, 58 of Junction City, passed away on Friday, Oct. 10, 2003 at the Geary Community Hospital in Junction City. Graveside services will be at the Highland Cemetery on Monday, Oct. 20, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Monday at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Reverend Lancelot Watson will officiate.

She was born Feb. 2, 1945 in Rome, GA the daughter of Albert and Geneva Johnson Star.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters, Zenia Jackson and Stephanie Henderson, both of Rome, GA and Beverly Jackson of Junction City; one brother, Horace Johnson of Rome, GA. and one sister, Mary E. Barrett of Rome, GA., and Eleven Grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Willie Brown, Charles E. Collins, Sr., Battle Summerville, Willie Holston, Albert Moore and Joel Vance.
