Marsha A. Rich, 66, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, KS. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2021, at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Roberts officiating. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021, at the Johnson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Good Shepherd Hospice House 3801 Vanesta Dr. Manhattan, KS 66503 or to the JCPD Law Enforcement Memorial Fund 210 E. 9th Street Junction City, KS 66441.
Marsha was born January 27, 1955, in Fukuoka, Japan, the daughter of Everett Dwight and Yasuko (Uchida) Roberts.
Marsha retired April of 2020 from the Junction City Police Department as an Investigations Administrative Assistant. She provided the Junction City Police Department 41 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, raising roses and watching butterflies. Marsha also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and cooking Sunday dinner. She was a Kansas City Chiefs fan.
She married William "Ron" Rich March 30, 1990 in Junction City, KS. He passed away March 29, 2008.
Survivors include one son, Christopher Hall and his wife Noreen of Junction City, KS; one daughter, Amanda M. Hall of Junction City, KS; seven grandchildren, Christopher Hall, Jr., William "Will" Hall, Pauline E. Hall, Jeffery Hall, Jackson Hall, Jet Li Hall and Quinlan Hall; two brothers, Benjamin F. Roberts and David M. Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
