Visitation services for Marlene Lochamy of Milford, KS will be held at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, Tuesday, May 18, 2004 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the St. Henry's Catholic Church, Bridge City, Texas with Father Jim McClintock officiating on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at 2 p.m. Burial will be held at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Bridge City, TX. Mrs. Lochamy passed away on May 16, 2004 at Mercy Health Center, Manhattan, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 120 Wallstreet, 19th floor, New York, New York, 10005.

Mrs. Lochamy was born in Port Arthur, TX to Theodore and Una Mae (Boudreaux) Hebert. She graduated from Lamar University, Beaumont, TX. She was a Registered Radiologist and Sonographer. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene and had resided in the Junction City/Milford area for the past 11 years. She had served as USD 475 School Board President from 2001-2002 and 2002-2003, she had served on the school board since July 1995.

She married Dr. Richard Lochamy June 3, 1978, Bridge City, TX.

She is survived by her husband; Dr. Richard Lochamy of Junction City, KS, one daughter; Chelsea Lochamy of Junction City, KS, father and step-mother Theodore and Mary Lou Hebert of Bridge City, TX, three brothers; Michael Hebert, Owen Hebert and Adrian Hebert all of Bridge City, TX, four sisters; Elizabeth Boren of Overton, TX, Carmel Williams, Mary Hebert and Melanie Bellard all of Bridge City, TX.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Una Mae Hebert, 1985.

Pallbearers will be Michael Hebert, Owen Hebert, Adrian Hebert, Mark Williams, Kenneth Boren, Harvey Bellard, Clint Hartsfield, Joe Hebert, Jacob Williams and Christopher Bellard.
