Mark F. Roberts, 58, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2020. Cremation has taken place.
Mark was born January 7, 1962 at Ft. Riley, KS to Francis M. and Satomi (Inagi) Roberts.He was raised in Junction City, graduating from JCHS class of 1980. Upon graduation he enlisted in the Air Force, proudly serving for 12 years. Upon completion of his honorable service, he returned to Junction City and joined the Junction City Police Department, June 1993.He retired from the Junction City Police Department as the Sergeant in charge of the lab. Upon retirement, he returned to the Junction City Police Department as a civilian evidence technician.
Mark married Susan Germann in April 1983 and was the proud father of two daughters, Kathrine and Michael Johns of Derby, Kansas, and Victoria Roberts and Keenan Rucker or Warsaw, Missouri.He was the proud grandfather of four grandchildren Malakai Johnson, Makenzie Johnson, Harley Rucker and Tayvin Rucker.
Mark is also survived by his sisters Lynda (Robin) Caswell of Opelika, Alabama, Carroll (Karl) Hochstein of Ankeny, Iowa, brother Francis (Diana) Roberts II of Alma, Kansas, Mother-in-Law Judith Germann of Junction City,Sisters-in-Law Tracy Locklear of Junction City, Mary Ritchason of Pompano Beach, Florida, Brother-in-Law Chris Germann of Greensboro, North Carolina, Jim (SeHee) Germann of Junction City, and Dan (Lana) Germann of Vienna, Missouri along with many nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother Nicki Roberts and Father-in-Law Walter Germann.
