Marjorie Pauline Gleason

Marjorie Pauline Gleason, 88, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Valley View Senior Life. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016, at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. Father David Jenkins will officiate.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Church of the Covenant.
Marjorie was born July 9, 1927, in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Isaac and Bertha (Carlson) Price.
Marjorie worked and assisted her husband Ted for many years when they owned and operated cable television companies. She was a member of the Reading and Garden Club in Junction City. She enjoyed traveling and Japan was one of her favorite destinations. Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her family. She is loved and will be greatly missed.
She married Teddy B. (Ted) Gleason May 26, 1952, in Albany, GA. Ted passed away October 10, 2012.
She is survived by one son, Jack Taylor of Junction City, KS, one daughter Judith Switzer of Garnett, KS. She is also survived by one sister Darlene Allison of Topeka, KS, six grandchildren, Eric, Erin, Evan Switzer; Sarah Simon, John Taylor and Yale Taylor and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Maxine Logan.
