Marion Dawn Allen, 72, Junction City, KS passed away Friday, January 18, 2013, at her home. Cremation has taken place. No memorial services are planned. Memorial contributions may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society Eastern Kansas Chapter 5350 SW 17th Topeka, KS 66604.
Marion was born January 15, 1941, the daughter of Thomas and Elinor (Haag) Whitfield.
She has resided in Junction City since the early 1970's. Marion worked for Contract Services at Fort Riley. She spent most of her career working as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed needle point work having made many pictures. She also enjoyed the outdoors fishing and camping.
She married Jack Allen December 26, 1989, in Junction City. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Allen Heindel and his wife Mary of Tampa Bay, FL and Dennis Heindel and his wife Kelly of Junction City, KS and Troy Allen and his wife Candy of St. George, KS. She is also survived by two Brothers Thomas Whitfield and his wife Marilyn of New Springfield,OH and Rocky Whitfield and his wife Janet of North Lima, OH. She is survived by two grandsons, Josh and Tyler Heindel.
