Marie P. Junghans

Marie P. Junghans, 63, of Junction City passed away April 5, 2004 at Geary Community Hospital. Visitation will be Sunday, April 11, 2004, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Funeral service will be Monday, April 12, 2004, 10 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Geary Community Health Care Foundation, P.O. Box 3015, Junction City, KS 66441.

Mrs. Junghans was born November 17, 1940, Doylestown, PA to James and Betty (Darrah) Jampo. She graduated from Central Buck's High School in 1958 of Doylestown, she had been a resident of Junction City since 1969. Mrs. Junghans worked for Bob & Gene's Travel and also managed Avenue Travel, she later operated Travel Time out of her home until she became ill. She was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church. She married David D. Junghans September 15, 1962 at Doylestown, PA, he survives of the home.

She is survived by her mother; Betty Jampo of Junction City, KS, one son; Brent Junghans of Junction City, KS, one daughter; Debbie Johns of Junction City, KS, and one brother; Dominic Jampo of Sellervilles, PA.

She was preceded in death by her father; James Jampo

Pallbearers will beDwayne Bozarth, LaMont Godsey, Tony Watkins, Monty Dibben, Troy Wiehl and Pete Sales.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Jampo, Brian Junghans, Bill Jampo, Brad Junghans, Mick Jampo, Jerry Shelly and Rocky Johnson.
