Marie Howery

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2007, at the Highland Cemetery for Marie J. Howery, 89, Junction City, Kansas. Reverend Redo Purnell will officiate. Mrs. Howery passed away Friday, March 9, 2007, at the Valley View Professional Care Center in Junction City. A visitation will take place 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel 203 N. Washington Junction City, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association Topeka Chapter 515 S. Kansas Ave., Suite B2 Topeka, Kansas 66603.



Marie was born March 3, 1918, to James and Lusettie Wells Fulkerson. In 1939, she married Heath Howery in Junction City. He passed away in 1994. She was a homemaker.



She is survived by her two sisters, Daisy Glenn of Junction City and Emma Mae Morris of Owensboro, Kentucky. She is also survived by her nieces Pat Glenn of Junction City, Kansas, Bobby Woods of Burkburnett, Texas and Bill Glenn of Wichita, Kansas. She is survived by many great nieces and nephews.
