Maria Adams, 77, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Geary Community Hospital surrounded by family. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery 5181 Wildcat Creek Road near Manhattan, KS. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, KS 66675.
Maria was born in Lampertheim, Germany to Ludwig and Katharina (Wetzel) Rupp. She has resided in Junction City for nearly thirty four years.
Maria loved her family and had a wonderful smile that could light up the room. She was well loved and enjoyed life.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Kenneth Adams of the home in Junction City. She is survived by her two daughters; Maritta Hilde of home in Junction City, Bellinda Katharina and her husband Allan Schoof of Overland Park, KS; and one son Robert Edward and his wife Anne Adams of Greenwood, SC; her sister Helgé Terrill and her husband Chuck of Wheeling, WV; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
