Margurita Kuhn

Margurita Amelia Kuhn, 88, a lifelong resident of the Alta Vista area until she moved to Derby a few months ago, died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Westview of Derby, Derby, Kansas.

Born February 9, 1919 in Alta Vista, Margurita was the daughter of John V. and Jessie B. (Switzer) Decker. She married Edwin J. Kuhn on August 3, 1946 in Alta Vista. Mrs. Kuhn helped her husband on the farm, was a Central Switchboard Operator and also had worked in the produce market at Alta Vista.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on October 27, 1972; and a sister, Nettie M. Rolfsmeyer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the Alta Vista United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Alta Vista Cemetery. Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 9:00AM until service time at the Alta Vista United Methodist Church.
