Margareta L. Goodin, 71, of Junction City passed away January 30, 2012 at Via Christi Village, Manhattan, KS. Cremation will take place with the assistance of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel and a family memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions in Margareta's name have been designated to Gospel Baptist Church, 24861 Old 41 North, Bonita Springs FL 34135.
Margareta was born February 24, 1940 in Germany to Walter and Hildegard (Schletterer) Langer. She worked with Civil Service at Fort Riley, Kansas for over 15 years.
She is survived by a son, Richard W. Goodin of Peyton, CO and a daughter, Pamela J. Hughes of Ft. Myers, FL, a brother, Werner Langer and a sister, Christa Mathes and three grandchildren; Joshua Goodin and Rebecca Goodin and Shelby Lynn Hughes.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Exodus 15:2, "The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him."
