Margaret T. Coffey

Mass of Christian Burial for Margaret T. Coffey, 83, Junction City will be 2:00pm Tuesday October 21, 2008 at St. Xavier's Catholic Church with Father Al Brungardt officiating, Burial will follow at Fort Riley Cemetery. Margaret passed away October 15, 2008 at Geary Community Hospital. Visitation will be from 6-8pm Monday, October 20, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline with a Vigil Service to be held at 7:30pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.



Margaret was born July 20, 1925 in Osage City MO the daughter of John L. and Theckla (Koetting) Keefe. She came to this area in 1955 with her husband. She worked Civil Service for many years, most of those years as a seamstress at Ft. Riley, KS.



She was married to Victory W. Coffey March 7, 1953, he preceded her in death in 1975. Also preceded in death by a son Duane in 1973, son Larry in 1994, daughter Patricia who died at birth, and 2 grandchildren.



Survivors include son John Morrow and wife Colleen, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, son James Coffey and wife Lynn of McPherson, KS, a daughter Pamela Harlin and husband Lanny of Marshall, MO, a son Robert Coffey of Junction City, a son Roger Coffey and wife Shan of Junction City, KS, 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
