Margaret P. Ricketts-Maxwell, 77 of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Friday, February 28, 2003 at her residence. Services will be held at the First Christian Church, Tuesday, March 4, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., Pastor Ronnie Roberts will officiate. Burial will be at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, March 3, 2003, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel

Margaret was born December 6, 1925, at Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of James and Sylvia (Brown) Lamb
Margaret graduated from Morganfield High School, Morganfield, KY in 1943.
Margaret married Dilver David Ricketts Sept. 18, 1947 at Gary, IN;
he preceded her in death June 8, 1987. She later married Charles Maxwell May 17, 1999 at
Junction City, KS; he survives of the home.
Margaret worked for the Army Air Force Post Exchange Service
as a Supervisor from 1952-1974. She Then worked for Ashley Outlet Store in Westside Shopping Center as a Manager from 1975-1987. Later, Margaret worked in the United Metals Recycling Center as a bookkeeper from 1987 to 2002.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, Deaconess, was a Sunday
School Teacher for 7 ½ years and was also Sunday School President for 3 years, Youth Leader for 2 years, and served on the Church board for 6 years.
Survivors include Husband;One Daughter: Norma Jean Kirkpatrick of Junction City, KS; Two Sisters: Janie Sellers and Betty Ann Lee both of KY; Two-Stepdaughters: Judy Mundhenk of N. Palm Springs, CA, and Donna McAlhaney of Lilburn, GA; Two Step-Sons: Joseph Maxwell of Manhattan, KS, and Leonard Maxwell of Collinsville, OK; Two Grandchildren; Eight Step-Grandchildren; and Two Step-Great Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; One Step-Daughter: Catherine Jackson; Two Great-Grandsons; and One Step-Granddaughter.
Casket bearers are Llellwyn McTavish, Jerald Mathews, Albert Meyer, Robert Hiatt, Stuart Workman and Forest Hodges.
Honorary Casket bearers are J.J. "Doc" Osborn, and the Sunday School Class
Organist will be Roxie Johnston and the Vocalist will be Dory Jones
