Services for Margaret N. Sherbert,82, of Manhattan, KS will be Graveside services will be at Highland Cemetery, Thursday, April 4, 2002, at 2:00 p.m.
Pastor Darel Boston of the First Christian Church will officiate, Margaret died April 1, 2002at Meadowlark Hills Retirement Home, Manhattan, KS. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2002 at Mass-Hinitt Funeral
Chapel, Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, Kansas Memorial Contributions Geary Community Healthcare Foundation, P.O. Box 3015, Junction City, KS 66441. Margaret was born April 26, 1919, Kansas City, Missouri to Herman and Martha (Hatch) Bowman, she married Fred Sherbert, Jr. August 5, 1939, he preceded her in death in 1975. She was a homemaker and also had worked on the family farm. She managed the Sherbert Mobile Court and the Sherbert's Dairy. She was also involved with the Homemaker's Extension Unit. Former member of the Episcopal Church of the Covenant. Survivors: Son: Dennis Sherbert of Junction City, KS, One Brother; Herman "Babe"Bowman of Manhattan, KS, One Sister; Anne Caldwell of Manhattan and four grandchildren. Preceded In Death By: Parents, Two Brothers; Jim and Charles Bowman
