Margaret Anderson, 83, Chapman, KS passed away April 10, 2005 at Chapman Valley Manor. Funeral Services will be 10:00AM Saturday, April 16, 2005 at Chapman United Methodist Church in Chapman, KS with Reverend Kenneth Trickle officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Cemetery. Friends may call after 4:00PM-8:00PM Friday, April 15, 2005 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS. Margaret was born February 7, 1922 in Bala, KS the daughter of Lewis and Alveta (Irion) Jones. She was reared in the Milford Community and graduated from Milford High School in 1940.
She married Leon Christensen on January 31, 1942. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1968. Married married Ernest Anderson in September of 1978 and he preceded her in death on July 26, 1996. She was a beautician in her home at Milford for 25 years. She was a member of the Bernice Huff circle and the United Methodist Church of Chapman.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Ethel Tremba. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Rickley of Chapman and Marceile Regelman of Junction City; one son, Max Christensen of Wichita; thre sisters, Phyllis Wagner of Camarillo, California; Amy Barton of Hartford Kentucky; and Helen Becker of St. Mary's, Kansas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Organist will be Marilyn Weishaar; Vocalists and Joe and Sheila Markley.
Pallbearers will be Travis Regelman, Tyler Regelman, Tanner Regelman, Aaron Rickley, Ryan Christensen, and Trent Christensen. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clifford Crites, Marvin Drieling, Clifford Gfeller, Marvin Mills, Larry Taylor, and Steve Zumbrunn.
