Manuel Gonzalez

A funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at the Ebenezer Church for Manuel Gonzalez-Valle, 38,Junction City, Kansas. Mr. Gonzalez will lie in state Tuesday April 17 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Ebenezer Church 1015 N. Washington Street. Reverend Daniel Rosario will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Manuel Gonzalez Memorial Fund c/o Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel.



Manuel was born April 14, 1968, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, the son of Victor Manuel Gonzalez and Adelaida Valles.



Mr. Gonzalez was a welder for many years. He was a member of the Ebenezer Church in Junction City where he served as the church treasurer. He helped individuals with their tax preparation.



He married Arelis Guzman Del Valle February 24, 1987, in Guayama, Puerto Rico. She survives of the home.



Other survivors include three sons, Erick H. Gonzalez, Randy M. Gonzalez and Melvin R. Gonzalez. He is also survived by one daughter Marelis Gonzalez and one granddaughter.
