Funeral services for Mae Bell Jones, 76, Junction City, will be 2:00pm Friday, June 22, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mass- Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline. Mrs. Jones passed away June 18, 2007 at Geary Community Hospital. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00pm Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel.



Mae Bell Jones was born August 29, 1930 in Waelder, TX the daughter of Joseph and Masaline (Wilson) McKinnon. At 18 she began working as a housekeeper, which later led her to Houston, where she met and wed her late husband Onie Mack Jones. They decided to make Junction City their place of residence in 1970. Survived by a sister Shirley Young, Junction City, KS; brother Joseph Mayberry, Harlingen, TX; three nieces; three nephews; eight great nieces and nephews.



She was preceded in death by her husband September 14, 1994 and her parents.
