Memorial services for Mabel Kirkpatrick, 94, of Topeka, KS, formerly of Junction City,KS will be held at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Friday, January 17, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. Pastor G. Edmond Thomas of the First Baptist Church.
Mabel died January 13, 2003 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare,No visitation is planned. Inurnment will be at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 624 N. Jefferson, Junction City, KS 66441. Mabel was born April 10, 1908, Junction City Kansas, to Edgar J. and Julia A. (Watson) Kirkpatrick. She was a graduate of Junction City High School. Mabel was the Office Manager for Dr. Brinkley's offices located in Milford, KS, and DelRio, TX from 1927 - 1942, she then moved to Los Angeles, CA working as Office Manager for a Post Office Mailing Company retiring in 1975, she moved back to Junction City, KS in 1986. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by Six Nieces and Three Nephews. Preceded In Death By: Parents, Four Sisters; Leona Correll, Orpha Herren, Rena DeGeorge and Edna Kirkpatrick (infancy), Four Brothers; John, Comer, Alvin and Glenn Kirkpatrick. Organist will be Florence Whitebread and Vocalist will be Laura Wyant.
