Louis Wawrzyniak, 64, Junction City, died on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Geary County Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery, 5181 Wildcat Creek Rd., Manhattan, KS with Fr. Al Brungardt officiating. Memorial contributions in Louis' name have been designated to the Disabled American Veterans , VA Hospital Bldg #24 RM 106G, 2200 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66622.
Mr. Wawrzyniak was born July 31, 1947, St. Joseph, MO to Stanley S. and Dorothy Mae (Burton) Wawrzyniak. He served in the United States Army and retired as an E-6. He then worked for Civil Service as a payroll clerk retiring from there as well.
He married Carol Divine she passed away. He later married Peggy Devens October 28, 1998. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include, three step-sons, Michael G. Adair of Hattiesburg, MS; Shawn E. Adair and Timothy W. Adair both of Junction City, KS. He is also survived by one daughter, Sharon G. Probasco of Junction City, KS. and one sister, Betty Carpenter of Mansfield, Ohio. He is survived by ten step-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents.
