Louis Henley

Funeral Services for Louis John Joseph "Dr. J." Henley, 77, of Junction City will be Friday, July 30, 2004, 1 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, with LTC Daniel Jenks. Visitation will be Thursday, July 29, 2004, 6 - 8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Burial will be at Fort Riley Cemetery with full military honors. Mr. Henley passed away July 27, 2004 at Valley View Professional Care Center. Memorial contributions may be given to the VFW, Post #8773, 1215 S. Washington, Junction City, KS 66441.

Mr. Henley was born March 7, 1927, Brooklyn, NY. He had been a resident of Junction City since 1959. He served in the United States Army in Infantry from 1945 to August 1, 1966 retiring as a SFC.

He is survived by one son , John Joseph Henley of Lawrence, KS one step-son, Wiley Harris of Kansas City, KS, one daughter, JoJo Tonya Henley of Junction City, KS, three step-daughters, Lizzie Thomas and Priscilla Clayton both of Topeka, KS, Marketa Blake of South Paris, Maine and ten grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Fort Riley Honor Guard
