Services for Lore L. Julian, 70, of Milford, Kansas will be at Main Post Chapel at Fort Riley, Friday, February 21, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Sandra Moore of the Wakefield Methodist Church will officiate. Lore died February 17, 2003 at her residence. No visitation or viewing, but she will lie in-state after 12 noon until 5:00 p.m.,Thursday, February 20, 2003 at the Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Fort Riley Cemetery, Fort Riley, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the Home Healthcare c/o Geary Community Health Care Foundation, P.O. Box 3015, Junction City, KS 66441. Lore was born August 22, 1932 in Bayreuth, Germany to Otto and Marie Lerner. She married Leonard Julian on March 16, 1961 in Niederwern, Germany. He survives. She was a homemaker. Survivors: Husband: Leonard Julian, Milford, Kansas; Son: Henry Julian, Milford,Kansas; Two Brothers: Otto Lerner and Heinz Lerner, both of Bayreuth, Germany; Five Sisters: Rosa Piechnik, Berlin, Germany, Betty Weinbacher, Munich, Germany, Martha Gindel, Bayreuth, Germany, Waltraut Rudolph, Berlin, Germany, and Gerda Shea,Tuscon, AZ. Two Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren. Preceded In Death By: Parents and One Brother: Helmut Lerner. Casket bearers: Robert Moon, George Graski, James Nelson, James VanZlike, DeLoy Budden,Joe Prem and BillHauser. Organist will be Manuel Pasquil.
