Lillian Nelson

Funeral Services for Lillian Nelson, 74, Junction City, Kansas will be held at Penwell-Gabel Mass Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue on Monday, May 24, 2010, at 11 a.m., with family members conducting the service. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow at Ft. Riley Post Cemetery.

Mrs. Nelson passed away on May 18, 2010, at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City, Kansas. Memorial contributions have been designated to the Lillian Nelson Memorial Fund in care of Penwell-Gabel Mass Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue, Junction City, Kansas 66441.

Lillian was born on October 24, 1935, in Keysburg, KY, to George & Frances (Toliver) Snorton. She later married Edward L. Nelson on June 25, 1957, in Springfield, TN he preceded her in death on November 7, 2002.

She is survived by her daughter, Audrey Nelson of Junction City, KS, a half sister, Doris Ware of Hopkinsville, KY, and four grandchildren, LaToyia Nelson, Terrell Edward Nelson-Moody, KaDontre' Nelson, and Nashaia Nixon.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter.
