Lieselotte "Lila" Else Griffis, 80, of Junction City, departed this life on March 4th, 2014, at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City, KS.
Lila was born in Poland on August 18th, 1933, to parents Karl and Else Hartrumpf.
Lila enjoyed cooking, and spending time in her garden tending to her plants and flowers. She loved her two dogs, Stoney and Carson, and being at the lake with her husband on their houseboat. She was an excellent Uno player. Lila was an amazing grandma, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of her heart.
She is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Roland Freytag.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Stefanie Griffis and Andrew Griffis; her grandchildren, Crystal Throckmorton, Savannah Throckmorton, Brooke Throckmorton, Evan Griffis, Payton Griffis, Jhagger Griffis, and Dehlaynee Griffis. Also left behind are six great-grandchildren.
No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation under the direction of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel.
