Leonard A. Schraag

Graveside services for Leonard (L.A.) A. Schraag, 80 of Junction City will be Thursday, April 13, 2006, 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery with Father Al Brungardt officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City. Mr. Schraag passed away at Geary Community Hospital on April 9, 2006. Memorial contributions may be given to an organization of the donor's choice.

Mr. Schraag was born October 26, 1925, Junction City, KS to Leonard S. and Essie O. (Wells) Schraag. He worked for KDOT as a Civil Engineer and retired from there in 1988.Served in the US Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater . Leonard was a member of American Legion Post #45. He married Marcella McGuire in 1957, she preceded in death September 16, 1978.

He is survived by one son Mike Schraag of Junction City, KS and one daughter, Nancy Hoover of Junction City, KS and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister and one daughter.
