Leo M. Cundiff, 82 of Junction City, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2004 at the Colmery-O'Neil VA Medical Center in Topeka. Cremation is planned with a memorial service at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 6, 2004 at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to the Leo M. Cundiff Memorial Fund, c/o Eagles Lodge, 203 E. 10th Street, Junction City, KS 66441.
He was born on April 9, 1922 in Belleville, KS, the son of Leo Beauford and Helen Madelyn Johnson Cundiff. He lived most of his life in the Junction City area.
He owned and operated Harvey's Auto Glass for several years and then he worked for Coates Chevrolet until retirement. He was also in the U.S. Army from 1942-45 and had fought in WWII.
He was a member of the VFW and the Eagles Lodge.
He was married to Barbara Ann Adair for 23 years until they divorced, he then married Marie Landrith, they later divorced.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Cundiff of Eudora, KS and Steve Cundiff of Griswold, IA.; one half-brother, Dick Hamilton of Lawrence, KS; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
