Memorial services for Lenora Brilhante Hall, 81, Junction City, will be held at 6pm, Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue, Junction City, KS. After a brief illness, Lenora (Nora) Brilhante Hall passed peacefully from this life on Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City, Kansas. Nora was born January 6, 1927 in Fall River, MA to Bento Brilhante and Maria Grace Mello. She married Donald (Red) Norman Hall on May 8, 1948 in Fall River, MA.
Nora retired from Civil Service at Fort Riley, where she worked in various positions; but, was best known as a Head Seamstress. She lived in Junction City until the time of her death. She was a member of St. John's Parish, Episcopal Church located in Abilene. She was very devoted to her Church, and was actively involved in all aspects of her faith. She will be deeply missed by all, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored her very much.
Nora is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Jose, Manuel, and Joseph, five sisters; Maria, Lena, Mary, Antoinette, and Theresa; and her husband Donald. She is survived by one sister, Helen Rebello of Fall River, MA, one son, Michael Hall and wife Joanne of Orem, Utah, and one daughter; Susan Bergstrom and husband Robert of Lindsborg, Kansas; 6 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
