Lene was born on April 11, 1982, Berlin, Germany to Valoaga and Fuatai (Ugaitafa) Valoaga. Growing up in a military family, he came to Fort Riley, KS. He and his family moved to Junction City, KS where he spent most of his life. After high school, he went to Vocational School in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he completed a Certification in Collision Repair (II). Lene then moved to Wilmington, California, for brief time before coming home to Junction City, Kansas. There he worked as a Government Civilian Contractor LSI as a Mechanic Technician on Fort Riley. He also worked at the Readiness Sustainment Maintenance Shop as an Equipment Body Mechanic. He joined the United States Army Reserves and transferred to active duty for several years as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. He retired from the United States Army in 2010 and settled in Milford, Kansas.

Lene was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. He had a love for pit bulls, sports, food, traveling, and making people laugh. He was intelligent, stubborn, loveable, genuine, kind, humble, and would offer the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He made it his responsibility to care for his parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews. Lene also had the utmost respect and admiration for his father and older brother.

May he rest in loving memory and finally be a peace. He was loved by many and adored by those who loved him.
