Lene Fotu Valoaga, 36, of Milford, KS, passed away on April 28, 2018. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 13, 2018, from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service, 805 Caroline Ave., Junction City, KS 66441. Funeral services will follow at 5:30 pm. Family and friends are to meet at the funeral home 11:30 am, Monday, May 14th to then travel together to the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Fort Riley, 5181 Wildcat Creek Rd., Manhattan, KS 66502, for a committal service with military honors at 1:00 pm.
Lene was born on April 11, 1982, Berlin, Germany to Valoaga and Fuatai (Ugaitafa) Valoaga. Growing up in a military family, he came to Fort Riley, KS. He and his family moved to Junction City, KS where he spent most of his life. After high school, he went to Vocational School in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he completed a Certification in Collision Repair (II). Lene then moved to Wilmington, California, for brief time before coming home to Junction City, Kansas. There he worked as a Government Civilian Contractor LSI as a Mechanic Technician on Fort Riley. He also worked at the Readiness Sustainment Maintenance Shop as an Equipment Body Mechanic. He joined the United States Army Reserves and transferred to active duty for several years as a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. He retired from the United States Army in 2010 and settled in Milford, Kansas.
Lene was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. He had a love for pit bulls, sports, food, traveling, and making people laugh. He was intelligent, stubborn, loveable, genuine, kind, humble, and would offer the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He made it his responsibility to care for his parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews. Lene also had the utmost respect and admiration for his father and older brother.
May he rest in loving memory and finally be a peace. He was loved by many and adored by those who loved him.

Lene is survived by his loving family: parents Valoaga M. Valoaga and Fuatai Ugaitafa; brother Daniel T. Valoaga (spouse Maribel and children Tanielu, Troy, Veronika, Daniel Jr. and Talia); sister Rebecca V. Remengesau (spouse Kedelaol and children Honora, Halana, and Tyger); brother Timothy S. Valoaga; and sister Marybeth Valoaga (child Uriah).
