Lee R. Swenson, 49, of Junction City passed away December 22, 2010 at Geary Community Hospital. Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel is assisting the family with cremation arrangements. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 12:00 pm at the Eagles Lodge, 203 E. 10th St., with Pastor Ronnie Roberts officiating. A benefit dinner will follow. The family requests no flowers.
Lee was born July 16, 1961 in Council Grove, KS to Robert & Maria (Banks) Swenson. He worked construction at Fort Riley.
He is survived by two sisters; Tammy Tenorio (John) and Vicki Koberstein both of Junction City. "His Girls", Victoria, Kristina, and Jessica all of Texas. Many nieces, nephews and many friends.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents.
