Leah died June 11, 2003 at Mercy Health Center, Manhattan, KS. Visitation will be Monday, June 16, 2003, 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Junction City, KS. Leah was born July 25, 1960 at Munich Germany to Melvin Bruce and Rose Ellen (Adams) Hayes. Leah was a lifelong resident of the Junction City, KS and Manhattan, KS area. She was a Nursing Assistant. She loved working with older adults and she loved animals.
