Funeral services for Lawnie Kay Smith, 30, former resident of Junction City will be Thursday, July 14, 2005, 10 a.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wed., July 13, 2005, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Miss Smith passed away due to natural causes on July 10, 2005.

Miss Smith was born January 15, 1975, Illiesh, Germany in a Helicopter to Phillip Smith and Ngoc (Thi Do) MacGown. She was a graduate of Junction City High School class of 1993. She was employed with First State Bank, working there for the past 10 years.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Steven and Ngoc (Thi Do) MacGown of Junction City, one brother, Ron Smith and his wife Bobbi of Manhattan, KS, one niece, Mackenzi Smith and one nephew, Collin Smith both of Manhattan, two grandparents, two uncles, two aunts and several cousins in VietNam.

She was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Smith

Pallbearers will be Roland Smith, Nate Meseke, Dan Butts, David House, Carl Johnson, Dan Nielson.
