Funeral services for Lavette Nix, 38, will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, September 26, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue with Reverend Victor Ware officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 25, 2008, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Miss Nix passed away on September 13, 2008 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS due to injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
