A Requiem Mass will be held 8:00am Friday, August 28, 2009 for Lauretta Mae McCormick, 88, Junction City at St. John Vianney Latin Mass Community Church, Maple Hill, KS with Father Michael O'Leary officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Junction City. Lauretta passed away August 25, 2009 in Junction City. No visitation is planned. Lauretta was born January 12, 1921 in Junction City, KS the daughter of James and Leila (Crawford) Tucker. She was married to Joseph McCormick June 18, 1941, he preceded her in death in 1988. Also preceded in death by a sister Genevieve, daughter Colleen Johnson, and four children at birth, Herbert, Philip, John, and Mary Rita.

Lauretta is survived by her daughter, Michele and husband Gary Bryant Junction City, Grandson Kevin and wife Mary Bryant, Atchison, KS, granddaughters: Beth and husband Danny Lewis, San Diego,CA, Amy and husband Marcel Camargo, Los Angeles, CA: Great Grandchildren Ella, Joesph,Patrick, twins Gemma and Mary Rita.
