Laura S. Kerns

A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2007, at the Second Missionary Baptist Church for Laura S. Kerns, 36, Junction City, Kansas. Pastor Leonard Gray will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Highland Cemetery. A visitation will take place tonight 6 - 8 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel 203 N. Washington. Ms. Kerns passed away Saturday, September 22, 2007, at the Geary Community Hospital in Junction City.

Laura was born February 25, 1971, in Independence, Missouri the daughter of James and Frances Kerns.

She is survived by her four children; Joey Kerns, Raven Kerns, Tiara Williams and Christopher Steele Kerns all of Junction City. She is also survived by her parents; James and Frances Kerns of Independence, Missouri; one grandchild; Annesa White of Junction City, grandmother; Gloria Dover of Kansas City, Missouri and one sister; Amy Carmickle of Junction City.
