Larry Thomas Gliniecki, Sr., 69, of Junction City, passed away on November 30, 2021 at his residence. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery with military honors.
He was born on April 28, 1952, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to Joseph and Dorothy (Geiger) Gliniecki.
Larry attended school in Junction City, KS before joining the U S Navy in 1970. Following his time in the Navy Larry returned to Junction City and worked at USD 475, Fort Riley and Kansas State doing Maintenance, Plumbing and HVAC and retired in 2020.
He was an outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed playing cards, crossword puzzles and sudoku.
On November 24, 2017 he married Imelda "Mel" Tagayon, she survives of the home.
Larry is survived by his ten children, Tina, Larry, Haaland, Benne, Jacob, Clarizza, Ena, Melanie, Nikko and Earl and several grandchildren; his brother, Joseph and his sister, Lois and one nephew and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews, David Powers, Joseph Powers.
His humor and love of life will be missed.
