Kye Bok Carroll, 66, of Junction City, KS, passed away on April 16, 2016. Cremation has taken place. Services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Kansas Veterans Cemetery located at 5181 Wildcat Creek Rd., Manhattan, KS 66503.

Kye was born on April 15, 1950, in Wejomboo, South Korea. She lived there until she met the love of her life, Brad Carroll.

Brad and Kye moved to the United States once Brad finished his tour of duty in Korea, and they were later married in Seattle, Washington.

For Kye, family was everything. She fought to keep her family united and strong through the trials of life. Her phrase was "Get along or I kick ya ". She will always be remembered for her "family first" view on life.

Kye was a master four-leaf-clover picker. Her life was centered around her grandchildren, Lacey and Brandon. Kye was also an avid cook. You never left her home hungry. She would cook authentic Korean cuisine, and her famous fried chicken that was the envy of her daughter-in-law, Brandy.

After Brad retired the Army, he and Kye lived in Junction City, Kansas for thirty years.

Kye is survived by her loving Husband, Brad, her Son, Thomas Carroll and wife Brandy of Lenexa, KS; Grandson, Brandon Carroll; and Granddaughter, Lacey Carroll.
