Kumaree Presley

Kumaree Presley, 72, of Junction City, died August 24, 2013 at her home in Junction City. Kumaree was born April 7, 1941 in Bangkok, Thailand, the daughter of Prasit & Arom Sabsunthorn. Kumaree attended schools in Thailand, and moved with her husband and family to Junction City in 1975. She worked in customer service at the Ft. Riley Commissary.
Kumaree married James Presley on January 9, 1970 in Bangkok, Thailand. He died July 24, 1996. Survivors include 2 daughters, Rita Presley, and Karen Dyson and her husband Paul Wagner, all of Junction City, 8 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Kumaree was preceded in death by her parents, and her son-in-law, LaShawn Veal.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013 at Ft. Riley Cemetery, with Chaplain Matt Glasgow presiding. The family will greet friends Tuesday, Sept. 3, 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m., at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel.
