Kevin Mark Salay, 36, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at his home in Junction City, KS surrounded by his loving family. It was Kevins wish to be cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations are suggested to be given to the American Kidney Foundation.
Kevin was born December 1, 1984, in Manhattan, KS the son of Mark C. and Evelyne (Nowack) Salay.
He graduated from Manhattan High School with the class of 2003. Kevin became a certified welder. Later in life he enjoyed owning and operated "K's Ride" taxi cab service in Junction City. He enjoyed reading and researching history with a special interest in family genealogy. He was very knowledgeable of the Bible. Kevin was a peacemaker and had a kind and caring spirit.
On December 23, 2006, he married Lindsay Krinhop in Junction City.
Survivors include his wife Lindsay; one daughter, Madelyn Salay; father and mother, Mark and Evelyne Salay of Junction City, KS; two sisters, Chrystal Salay of Junction City, KS and Stephanie Salay of Hope, KS; three nephews, Nicholas Salay, Anthony Glacken and Axel Garcia; three nieces, Emily Halbert, Tessa Salay and Makenzie Salay.
Kevin was preceded in death by his nephew Jax Garcia.
