Kevin Lee Olson, 41, of Overland Park, formerly of Junction City, died May 11, 2015 at the Homestead of Manhattan in Manhattan. Kevin was born January 20, 1974 in Junction City, the son of Clayton R. and Celia (Quisenberry) Olson. Kevin was a 1992 graduate of Junction City High School. He later attended Kansas State University.
Kevin was an Asst. Manager for Key Management, a residential rental property company in Manhattan. Kevin was a member of the First Baptist Church in Junction City, and as a hobby, was a toy collector.
Survivors include: his parents, Clayton and Celia Olson, Junction City; and a brother, Michael Olson, Overland Park.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Junction City, with Pastor James Callaway presiding. Inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday, May 22, 2015, beginning at 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be sent to the First Baptist Church, or the Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research, sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS 66441.
