Funeral services for Kenneth H. Christian, Jr. 66, Junction City will be Thursday, December 21, 2006 2:00pm at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday, December 20, at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS. Burial will be at Spring Lake Cemetery, In Aurora, ILL. Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Animals PO Box 580, Junction City, KS, 66441

Kenneth passed away suddenly at his home in Junction City.



Kenneth was born August 16, 1940 in Aurora, ILL the son of Kenneth H. and Arlene E. (Northrop) Christian, Sr.



He had worked as a civilian with the Rapid Deployment Force at Fort Riley before retiring a few years ago, then worked part time to support the troops in Iraq.



He had previously retired as a major in the Air Force and was a captain in the Army Reserve.



Ken had gone to the University of Illinois on a scholarship and earned a bachelor of law degree.



He leaves his mother, Arlene, two brothers, Stephen of Grand Island, NB and Terry of Caledon East, Ontario, aunts Vera Jean Hunger of Aurora, Ill, and Anne Christian of Elburn, Ill., and many nieces and nephews.



Preceded in death by his father Kenneth H. Christian, Sr.
