Memorial services for Kenneth C. Hickson, 80, of Junction City will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 8th at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington. Mr. Hickson passed away at Geary Community Hospital on July 3, 2008.
Kenneth C. Hickson was born on April 22, 1928 in Kansas City, MO. He attended Central High School in Kansas City, MO.
He married Mai T. Hickson on July 6, 1971. Mr. Hickson served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was in the Army for 22 years and retired in 1972. He then went to work for Civilian Contractors at Fort Riley for 18 years.
Survivors include his wife Mai of the home, one daughter; Janet Stock and husband Brian and granddaughter Annastasia Stock all of Dallas, TX, two brothers; Lee of California, Dean of Washington, two sisters, Mamie and Lois of Wichita, KS
