A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2009, at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel for Kelly J. Poole, 45, Junction City. Father Dale Plummer will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Mrs. Poole passed away at her home Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at her home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Hospice at Geary Community Hospital c/o Geary Community Healthcare Foundation P.O. Box 3015 Junction City, Kansas 66441.
Kelly was born September 3, 1963, in Beatrice, Nebraska the daughter of Stephen and Jean (Best) Shultz.
Kelly graduated from Junction City High School. She worked in the banking industry in Junction City for over 15 years. She enjoyed crafting, gardening and spending time with her family.
She married Jim Poole July 17, 1982, in Junction City, Kansas. He survives of the home.
She is also survived by one son, Joel Poole of Manhattan, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
