Funeral services for Kellie K. Wiggins, 43, of Linn, KS, formerly of Junction City will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Grace Baptist Church, 2901 Dickens Avenue, Manhattan, KS with Pastor Robert M. Flack officiating. Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Highland Cemetery in Junction City. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 22, 2006, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington Street, Junction City. Ms. Wiggins passed away at KU Medical Center on October 18, 2006. Memorials may be given to the Mercy Foundation, Cardiology Fund, P.O. Box 13, Manhattan, KS 66505.
Ms. Wiggins was born May 26, 1963, Junction City, KS to Charles J. Loy and Sharon K. Marston. She was a beautician and had also worked as a pharmacy technician at Wal-Mart in Junction City. She attended the Grace Baptist Church.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Sharon and Bill Stepanek of Linn, KS, her father, Charles Loy of Herington, KS,grandmother, Katharine Marston of Linn, KS, three sons, Nicholaus R. Searles of LaPorte, IN, Aaron J. Wiggins of Concordia, KS and Cory J. Wiggins of Manhattan, KS, one daughter, Jessica L. Mizell of Manhattan, KS, two brothers, SGT Leland J. Loy of Killeen, TX and Leon K. Rumsey, Jr. of Washington, KS, four step-brothers, Jon L. Stepanek of Portland, OR, Larry G. Stepanek of Ada, KS, Darin H. Stepanek of Linn, KS and Steven G. Stepanek of Linn, KS.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Nicholaus Searles, Aaron Wiggins, Cory Wiggins, Larry Stepanek, Steve Stepanek and Tom Day.
Organist will be Mrs. Carmen Schwenk and Soloist will be Mrs. Beverly Richardson
