Kathy L. Delaire, 63, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, KS. Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016, at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home 203 N. Washington Street. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the American Cancer Society.
Kathy was born December 14, 1952, at Fort Riley, KS, the daughter of Raymond Charles and Nellie Darlene (Wacker) Mann.
Kathy worked for Geary Community Hospital in the Dietary Department for over thirty five years. She enjoyed to crochet, knitting, reading and fishing. She was her own person with a sense of humor. She had an outgoing personality and enjoyed being around people and making sure they were fed.
Survivors include one son, Antony Mann and his wife Judith of Junction City, KS, one daughter Anna Fountain and her husband Thomas of DuPont, WA. She is survived by three brothers, Michael Mann, Raymond Alfred Mann and Ray Allen Mann; three sisters, Dorothy Flynn, Norma Elliott and Mary Olds. Kathy is survived by two grandchildren, Cyann Fountain and Kyle Fountain. She is also survived by many other family members.
She was preceded by her parents, one brother-in-law Mike Elliott and one nephew Matthew Mann.
