Karen Elizabeth Dyson, 78, of Clay Center, passed away on September 29, 2017 at Good Shepherd Hospice House. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017, 2p-4p, 1609 8th Street, Clay Center, KS 67432.
Memorials are suggested to the Good Shepherd Hospice House, 3801 Vanesta Drive, Manhattan, KS 66503.
She was born on October 11, 1938, Concordia, Kansas to Benjamin and Dorothy (Montgomery) Pearson. On March 3, 1957 she married Garold Dyson. The couple lived in Concordia several years before moving to Clay Center, Kansas, where they lived for 47 years.
Karen is survived by her loving Husband, Garold of the home; Son, Jeffrey (Brenda) Dyson of North Charleston, SC; Daughter, Lisa Dyson of Colorado Springs, CO; 3 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Benjamin Wesley Pearson, Mother, Dorothy Elizabeth Pearson, Brother, Richard Pearson, and Brother, Robert Pearson.
Dove Cremation & Funeral Service of Junction City, KS is handling cremation arrangements.
