November 14, 1931 — October 31, 2014

June Delores Poe, 82, of Junction City, passed away on October 31, 2014 at her residence. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery on Thursday, November 6, 2014. A Celebration of Life Service will follow the graveside service at 3:30 p.m. at Flint Hills Church located at 7th and Madison Street in Junction City. Reverend James Hagemeister will officiate. No visitation is planned. Memorial Contributions may be given to International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, P.O. Box 96105, Washington D.C. 20090-6105.

She was born on November 14, 1931 to Harry and Ethel (Stevens) Skeats at Eastbourne Sussex, England.

On January 29, 1955 she married JC Poe in Witney, Oxfordshire, England. He preceded her in death December 30, 2010.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Flint Hills Assembly of God Church

June is survived by her son, Kelvin Skeats of South Bend, IN; her four daughters, Carol Peters (John) of Junction City, KS; Lorraine Spearman (Marcus) of Fort Worth, TX; Jackie Cooper of Wichita, KS and Renee Reneau (Rick) of Clarksville, TN. She is also survived by five siblings, Joan Wilson, Peg Baldwin, Gordon Skeats, John Skeats all of Witney, Oxfordshire England and Derek Skeats of Kingham, Oxfordshire England; Twelve grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Lisa, Robyn, John, Danny, Kayla, Seth, Jacob, Jessica, Wendi and Kelsey; thirty one great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Edna Skeats; one brother, Les Skeats and one great-granddaughter, Kylee Renee Bishop.
