Funeral Services for Julia L. Brubaker , 80, Junction City will be 11 a.m., Friday, February 3, 2006 at Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Jim Bond officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, KS. Mrs. Brubaker passed away January 30, 2006 at her residence. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Homecare & Hospice, 323 Poyntz, Manhattan, KS 66502.

Mrs. Brubaker was born October 20, 1925 in Glade, KS the daughter of Ora O. and Florence (Clark) Elliott. She was married to Theren L. Brubaker December 11, 1942 in Olathe, KS. He preceded her in death April 19, 1990. They farmed in Western Kansas. Julia was a housewife and homemaker. She attended the Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by her son Gary Brubaker, Aberdeen, SD; two daughters, Patricia Tholstrup, Junction City, KS and Phyllis Tobler, Lebo, KS; four brothers Glen Elliott, Salina, KS, Cecil Elliott, Pomona, KS, Ory Elliott, Agra, KS and Ronald Elliott Shawnee, KS, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Don Tobler, Jr, Glen Tobler, Brian Tholstrup, Jason Tholstrup, Bryan Clower, and Daric Schneidewind.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Alan Taylor, and Christopher Brubaker, Josh Clower and Dave Wagner.
